The Sky Disc has a diameter of approximately 31.4 cm. Since it is not quite circular, it varies between 31 cm and 32 cm.

Its thickness decreases from the inside to the outside: from 4.5 to 1.5 mm. It is therefore two-thirds thinner at the rim than at its thickest point.

There are 30 stars visible on it. Two more are hidden behind the golden arc on the right. A crescent-moon, a full moon or a sun are framed by two horizon arcs.
The solar barge on the lower part of the Sky Disc completes the picture.

These gold appliqués have an approximate thickness of 0.4 mm. A total of 39 perforations are lined up around the edge.
